Hi, can you please help me. Is the Asus Strix GTX 1050ti is compatible with my prebuilt Acer Aspire TC-710 model? here's the link of my unit. http://www.asianic.com.ph/product/acer-aspire-tc710-windows-10-desktop. I'll gladly appreciate your answers :)

Solution
here's a few thing u should consider:
whether ur case can fit it or not (u can measure ur case space and then check the GPU's specification to see whether it fits or not)

whether the 1050ti variant needs an 6 pin power connector or not (most brand's top tier item had that for extra OC headroom, u should find the variant that doesn't require it)

from my experience, most of the single fan GPU doesn't come with a pin connector so u should try to find that kind of GPU (like Zotac single fan 1050ti / MSI 1050ti OC [the black-white GPU] / Galax 1050ti OC [not EXOC])

Noted, thanks @constantine_99. But here's another thing I'm confused of, its wether to change the PSU of that prebuilt model. Cause some says that the 1050ti has a minimum 300w psu needed. Which my prebuilt system's psu have. It has a 300w psu

if u're planning on changing it, change it!
most PSU from prebuilt PC sucks (not all, but mostly)
spec wise, 400w is already enough headroom for the PC
but, getting a 550w 80+ gold PSU will be good for futureproofing, in case later on u change to a full gaming rig (something like Ryzen + 1080ti) that PSU would still be usable.

Thanks dude @constantine7_99, much appreciated. And dude, do I really need to buy the 1050ti which has no 6 pin connectors required? Cause I've been longing for the Asus strix 1050ti. (Sorry for being a noob) hehe

@constantine_99 currently I'm now planning to get the MSI gtx 1050ti 4gb OC (the one with black and white and 1 fan) and it has no power connector needed. But will my motherboard be able to draw the required watts needed for that gpu?

yeah, it's capable, 75w is the ceiling for the mobo power wattage, that's why some other brands decided to put an extra 6-pin connector for extra OC headroom and better cooling (2 fans)

btw, if u want to gaming, u might want to consider to get a 8 GB RAM instead, i only had 4 GB just like u and 1 game already took almost the whole RAM meaning i can't open browser / anything while im gaming :(
people said u need to buy a pair since sometimes different RAM doesn't work, u can try to buy a 8 GB stick and see if it work with your old RAM, if it does, use it both and u will have 12 GB of RAM, if it doesn't, well, at least u have 8 GB now

@constantine_99 Thanks, yes I'm planning to buy 1 Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR3 1866MHz Memory, and I guess I'm gonna stick with that 8gb of ram cause the other 4gb has a different frequency, brand, etc. I'm afraid to take the risk Lol.
And 1 thing. Cause I'm on a really tight budget can I just stick with my current PSU (300w)? since the MSI 1050ti that I'll buy does not require a power connector. But I'm going to change it later then for my future upgrade. Or do I really need to change it as soon as I buy the Graphics card for safety reason. Thanks

well i can't say for sure about the PSU, depending on the quality of the PSU, it could be enough. (mine is a HEC 400w, and so far, it's holding up pretty well [keep in mind that my generation is older meaning technically my power consumption should be higher than urs])

btw, for RAM, there should be no risk in trying, if the speed is lower, the faster one will be capped according to the slowest (so your hyperX will act like a DDR3-1600mhz instead), worst case, the PC won't start, if that's so, u just need to unplug the old one.

Btw I'm new to gaming. I'll first upgrade my rig then I'll buy tons of games :) hope it goes well
