My current custom build is running off of an AMD processor and I would like to change to an Intel i7 7700K.
With the following components, what is the best motherboard I could get that is compatible.
Intel Core i7 7700K
NZXT Kraken x61
Asus GeForce GTX750Ti
Kingston Hyper Fury 16GB (2x8GB)
Note: when I choose a motherboard on uk.pcpartpicker.com the following message pops up:
Some Intel B150 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaby Lake-S CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.
Also this sometimes pops up:
The Kingston - HyperX Fury White 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory operating voltage of 1.5V exceeds the Intel Kaby Lake-S CPU recommended maximum of 1.35V+5% (1.417V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.35V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum.
Is this something to worry about? Could I still get this motherboard?
