Recommended Virtual Memory for 8GB of ram WIN 7

Yesterday i have to change my virtual memory and i set it to ( initial size 2000 mb , maximum size 40000 mb )
I dont know much about virtual memory and i think that i set it pretty much wrong.
So if anyone can help, thanks

The recommendation is 1X to 2X the RAM you have. Set it to a fixed size (min and max the same). With 8GB RAM, I would probably go for the 1X size and set it to min = 8192 and max = 8192

If you are using much pagefile memory then your computer is going to be REALLY slow anyway.
