Hi all,

I'm having issues with the F3 bios on my Z270-Designare since installation. Would anybody tell me how to downgrade to F1 ?

I've seen poeple talking about CMOS reset, but one guy said that it would clear settings without reverting back to factory bios, seemed safer to ask about the matter

ps : On their website, there's only a windows 10 32 bit compatible version

Thanks in advance

The CMOS is volatile memory (meanings its contents are erased when it loses power like DRAM) it stores things like BIOS settings and the date and time, it's powered by the little battery on the mobo so it doesn't lose that info even if the system is disconnected from power. You don't have to do anything with the CMOS to flash a BIOS.

You would install the older version the same way you installed the new version, just follow the instructions in your mobo's manual for updating the UEFI/BIOS and use the file for the older bios.

I don't even have the option for windows 10 32bit. You don't see windows 10 64bit in the drop down on the page I linked below?
