Ryzen 3 1300x or ryzen 5 1400

Hello all, please help me make a decision about witch Ryzen CPU should I buy for budget pc build.
R3 1300x or R5 1400
I have now:
CPU: Intel g530 duo-core (2,40 Ghz)
GPU: Nvidia gt 630 2gb
RAM: APACER 4gb x 2 at 1066mhz
M/B: MSI H61M-P20 (G3)
No overclocking. My build after 6 years is fine but its time to get an upgrade. My job on this PC is research, web design, multitasking and little gaming

So I want to upgrade to new Gen. Witch Ryzen CPU is better for job and gaming.
Im so sorry if this is too long and boring to read, I needed to explain what I do and what I currently have. Tnx in advance.

r5 1400 have difference in threads count, r3 doesnt have smt so there would only be 4 cores and 4 threads, but with r5 1400 there will be 4 cores and 8 threads, it can make a bit of performance difference

I'd get the 1500x if you're not overclocking, I'm not certain it's worth it to get a 4C/4T CPU at this point anymore for gaming, the extra threads are a pretty good insurance policy for future games and help a lot if anything is running in the background while you're playing.

Its too bad that 1500x is not on market in my country, I wanted to change because of my job as IT. My budget is low, maybe I would upgrade just cpu from intel g530 to I3-2120 or 2100, I found only them on a market used, because I use lga 1155 socket.

If you have socket 1155 already, these low-end Ryzen chips are only around as good as a 3rd gen i5 (which fits your socket) for most things. Granted, you'd be getting a more modern platform with it too.

Get whatever i7 is compatible with your mainboard, then; the few year old i7's still run everything fine...

(Then save up for a GTX1050)

In my country on the market there are only used i3 2120 and i3 2100 left, and thay are like 40$ - 50$ . lga 1155 sockets are been discontinued from stores .

I dont have much money so I want to make smart investment to futureproof
(GTX 1050 is 155$ so yea thank you )

is there any like 2nd/3rd gen i5/i7 available there, they are still fine enought to use nowadays, still can pretty much do gaming, depending on what games you are playing

Check MSI's website for compatible processors, then find an i7 if at possible...
