Hello my games keep crashing with an error message of

Fatal error: [File:D:\Jenkins\workspace\DBD_Boreal\UnrealEngine\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RHI\Private\D3D11Util.cpp] [Line: 227]

with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

ive tried looking for help before but none of it worked.. ive tested hard drive and the ram its nothing to do with them sometimes it says D3D DEVICE LOST.. i really dont know what to do i took it to a computer shop and they cleared the windows because it was corrupted but that didnt do anything, and they did something with the bios but still nothing happened, the graphics cards in great condition as its only half a year old and theres no way i could just buy a new computer so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

What are the specs of your rig? When does the game crash, as it is running or before it loads?

I would start with going to userbenchmark.com and running the bench. It will test the hardware and tell you if everything is performing as it should.

everything came back as Very good or outstanding. the boot drive is the only thing that came back as an issue but wasnt major and i doubt this will have anything to do with the issues im having

no i have never OC my GPU so it couldnt overheat the fans are also working fine

Okay so before i played that game i changed my fps cap in my radeon settings from uncapped to 60fps and i just got through a full 20 minute game of friday the 13th which i never had done previously could this of been the issue??

i put the psu in the specs above it is a PSU:EVGA 100-W1-0500-K3 - 500W 80 Plus Power Supply (100-W1-0500-K3)

But that error message is obvioulsy just for friday the 13th but with dead by daylight it changes the error message and games that dont run unreal just go to black screen then to desktop or i have to manually restart it
