Missing capacitors on the top side of the cpu

Hello,
I have a Intel i5 cpu on my laptop and there are missing 4 capacitors on the top side. Is there a way to fix that or will it work?

Sometimes they are there for power filtering and it's possibly it would work, but also greatly possibly it won't. lol. Can't really recommend trying as it could short out when the bare pads touch the thermal paste or heat sink. Unless you're good at micro soldering and reattach them.

Do you think that if they were there before, the cpu will function properly without them... I measured with multimeter and they are connected parallel.
