Ryzen 3 1200 with 1060 3gb good pair for games

I was thinking of buying the the new ryzen 3 1200 CPU, with 8gb ram on a b350 or a320 motherboard.

I was just wondering if this would be a good pair with my gtx 1060 3gb and would it be able to play games which. One out in the future like Call of Duty WW2.

Probably better than the 1200, it will trade blows with the 1400 (stock) and be a little behind the 1500 in better-threaded titles - though it might actually be faster even then once overclocked. However, it's getting harder to find good motherboards for the older 4670K, and that platform lacks a lot of modern features you'd find on AM4 or Intel's socket 1151.

The Ryzen 3 chips are Intel Pentium and Core i3 competitors. That is to say, they're adequate if you're not too picky, but you can expect in the more demanding games that the CPU will prevent you from getting a smooth 60fps regardless of what GPU you have, some with dips into the ~40's. YMMV though, and it will vary from game to game.

Would the i5 4670k preform better than the r3 1200 or the r5 1400 and 1500
