A little while ago I looked at upgrading my memory from 8GB to 16GB, however the first site I came across listed that the maximum I could install on my current board as 8GB.

I didn't bother perusing but recently decided to put some effort in to research of a new board when I noticed another site listed the maximum as 16GB.

My question: Is it possible to be 100% sure what the max actually is before I end up purchasing more memory or a new board.
