I have been using my Logitech g105 keyboard since 2014 and it is serving me well and i'm considering to switch to a mechanical keyboard but idk what type of switch to pick i tried cherry mx reds, Romer Gs and Razer Greens at a local store and i found them all (idk how to describe them accurately) quite flimsy and not stiff enough for my liking. I like to bottom out the keyboard keys when i press W to walk when i'm playing fps games ( that's 90% of what i play) and i'm not the type of person that types alot i mainly game with my keyboard and i heard that for fps gamers and people who like membrane keyboards Cherry MX Blacks or Browns are the way to go is that true ? If not what can you recommend instead ?

Cherry MX Browns are the most popular for people that realize they don't like the sound and clacking of mechanical keyboards, you can bottom out while typing with them without too much noise. Blacks may feel less flimsy to you because of additional weight needed to bottom them out, but I honestly just find that tiring on the fingers. I'm not an expert on the non cherry mx switches. The best advice I can give for these is find a friend or store that has some and just type or play on it for a while to see how it feels.

Blacks browns or clears seem the best for you.
