Hey Guys!
I just want to ask if you have the same fps drops as i do in gta v.
i have zotac gtx 1060 6gb amp edition, 8gb ram and intel core i4-4460
i put every settings to ultra including msaa to 8x and grass to ultra,
but fps drops to 40. is it normal? is the msaa and grass that demanding?
or is there a problem with my computer?
because turning those to settings to 4xmsaa and grass to normal makes the game runs at 55-60fps.

(advance graphics are turned off by the way)

Solution
Yep that is normal. To truly max out GTA V on 1080P with ultra settings and heavy filtering AA (16x by 8x) you actually need a GTX 1080 maybe more even at 1080P. Using only in game settings though like you are can still push things to the GTX 1070 even 1080 range. GTA V is a resource hog. You CPU is fine. If it wasn't when you dropped your settings you would still have the same frame rate. The fact it goes up shows your not at a CPU bottleneck point yet. What ever you CPu can crank out on lowest setting and resolution is can do at any settings and resolution assuming your GPU is strong enough.

I guess i will be playing at at very high settings with 4x msaa and grass to normal, at least i got 55-60fps at that settings. i am relieved that my gpu doesn't have a problem. thank you for the response sir

Yeah, I meant moreover the lack-of an i7! :p
Agreed on the GPU front, even with an i7 it would only climb to about 50FPS all on ultra with x16 AA. A 1070 is needed to truly fully max GTA.
