At pcpartpicker.com it gives a small warning that it might not be compatible. Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this extremely specific question for specific parts :/

"The Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Gigabyte - GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard."

Also, the Cooler Master 212 EVO isn't a very good CPU cooler to buy anyways. I suggest the CRYORIG M9a for~$20 USD. It Performs similarly if not better than the 212 EVO, smaller, easier to install, quieter, and cheaper.

WTF, I have OCed 6600k at 4.2 Ghz and it's running at about 30-38 degrees

There are better coolers out there, for the money than the 212 evo. Also the 212 evo tends to get loud. The H7 is shorter, quieter, and performs better at a similar price point. It fits in a far bigger selection of cases due to its height as well. Not saying the 212 is bad, it's just an old design that has been outperformed by newer options.

Just five days ago I bought a MSI Core Frozr L cooler for my computer. It ended up replacing the aging CM 212 evo cause the plastic clips was getting brittle and started to crack.

What I liked most about the MSI Core Frozr L is it supports few socket types even the AM4 out of the box.
