Need help with upgrading cpu

HI folks!

I have the acer aspire T 280 EB11 with amd a10 7800. I'm looking to upgrade the cpu and my ram too if that's possible? I have no clue what ram to get (can go up to 32g). recently bought the gtx 1050ti and I want to get the full experience that comes with it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Well the a10 will hold the 1050ti back in most games. If you already have 8gb of ram you are fine and don't need to upgrade.

The cases these come in look pretty smallish.....

I'm not sure a full size GTX1050Ti will fit, but, I hope so...

As these come with 300 watt PSUs. you will need to check manufacturer's website with what processors, if any, can be safely swapped, as the manufacture will know any thermal/BIOS constraints that will come into play...

That psu seems to weak to be able to support the 1050ti for a long time or even at all. The case will also be too small for anything but the smallest of 1050ti's. Your cpu will be holding back the 1050ti in cpu intensive games anyways.
