Hi, my computer is having a strange DNS problem and nothing seems to be fixing it. Earlier today it was working fine, until I needed to go on a US only site (I'm from Canada). I was queueing up in Cyber Ghost, but completely forgot about it. I downloaded the Betternet extension for Google Chrome. So now I essentially had 2 VPNs running.
I turned off and uninstalled both VPNs after that.

After that, my pc has dns problems every couple minutes. If I unplug my wifi adapter, or manually change my DNS to something else, it works again for a couple minutes.

When I troubleshoot, it just says that Windows can't communicate with the device or resource (primary dns server).

I've also tried all the ipconfig commands, scanning for malware or viruses, and temorarily removed my motherboard battery to no avail.
My PC is the only thing affected by this.

Is used nslookup in cmd and apparently my default server is

If it helps, my specs are:

Skylake i7 6700k
Asus Viii hero mobo
GTX 1080 Strix
32gb of ram
Think my power supply is 750w bronze

Not sure if my specs help.

Sounds like one of the programs might be affecting your IP configuration settings, not just DNS settings. Try running IPConfig while your connection is working and while it isn't. It should say your gateway is 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.1 (or something similar to that) both times. Maybe post the results if they are different. Also try pinging 8.8.8.8 (a Google address) while you are experiencing the issue, this will confirm if it is a DNS issue.
