Hi Guys

Hope you can help, I have a Friends PC fitted with a Asus prime B250-Plus ATX mobo, with a I5-7600K and a 240mm AIO. Given the Chip and cooler, not overclocking would be crazy, yet when i enter the bios, set it to sync all cores and go to up the multiplier it caps out at X42 and will not let me select higher?

I know these chips are good for 4.6 minimum on water, and i know the B series mobo is not recommended for overclocking, but i dont understand why i cannot increase the multiplier? is this purely down to the motherboard being a B series not Z?

Few details and specs should they be needed:
Mobo: Asus prime B520-Plus (Flashed to latest Bios)
CPU: I5-7600k
RAM: 16GB DDR4 (4x4GB)
Cooling: 240mm AIO
GPU: 1050TI (4GB)
PSU: (Superflower 550w Golden green)

Thanks in advance guys
