Does it support?

I want to upgrade my processor on an old H215 lenovo desktop, but do not want to go through the hassle of reinstalling windows nor cable management when getting a new motherboard. I already updated my PSU to a 500 watt one about two years ago. I heard from a friend that I can put in a Phenom ii x4 980 and my motherboard will support it. Is this true? Here are my motherboard specs according to CPU-Z:
Lenovo Tilapia CRB
Chipset: AMD 780G
BIOS: Lenovo Version D2KT25BUS

Thank you for your help.

It's always hard to be sure with OEM builders like Lenovo. They sometimes don't keep BIOS updates available for the later processors that come along. But the Phenom II X6 1065t is the fastest 95W AM3 socket CPU that I can think of. Whether or not your OEM BIOS will recognize it is another question. Unless you just want to take a chance, I suggest you hop over to the Lenovo forum and ask there. If a Lenovo rep is present, he may have the answer for you.
