Solution HamBown81 Aug 28, 2017 It would not be "recommended" but you can likely get away with it. You could potentially be pushing it to the limits under certain conditions. For reference, my system is the following: AMD FX-8370 @ 4.56GHz XFX Radeon RX 580 GTR-S 8GB @ 1515MHz / 2250MHz ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R.0 2x8GB ADATA XPG V3 @ 2132MHz 10-11-11-30 My power draw should be significantly higher than yours and I haven't seen it break 500W, even under heavy stress testing.

Y Yuri_BR Prominent Jun 1, 2017 16 0 520 Aug 22, 2017 #3 I use it with a CX 430w, it works fine (as long as you don't overclock it), but makes coils wine and the PSU fan runs at full speed - its noisy, but it works. I want to buy a more powerfull PSU to make everything quiet again. Upvote 0 Downvote

O ohenryy Honorable Nov 16, 2014 1,071 0 12,060 Aug 28, 2017 #5 Should be fine if the PSU is a really quality one. But yes, 500w would be recommended. Upvote -1 Downvote
