Good i5 proccessor under 100 dollars for gaming and editing

hello,what is the best intel i5 proccesor for gaming and editing under 100$?

im using msi h110M Pro-vhl motherboards,it supports LGA 1151 cpu socket.

Note : I am not the Pc guy...sorry if im making a mistake or making the conversation weird :)

Yeah, good luck finding a Skylake or Kaby Lake Core i5 for that price.

https://pcpartpicker.com/products/cpu/#f=75,57&s=12&sort=price&page=1: doesn't have much better pricing (I think those "OEM/Tray" versions are the ones that don't come with a cooler or something like that, so they're not really a good deal).

And both are still too new to really have any used CPUs on sale -- Kaby Lake just came out, & the few Skylake users that would be selling them used would be those fools that "upgraded" to Kaby Lake or decided to switch over to Ryzen.

If you're using an 1151 motherboard then you'll need an i5 to fit it, either 6th gen skylake or 7th gen kabylake (with bios update). An i5 for under $100? That might be really difficult to source, it would almost definitely be used and then it depends on who is selling any haswell i5 for $100 or less and what model it is. Not sure it's a matter of the best i5 for that price, more like the only i5 you find at that price.

Edited: Thanks Supahos, you're right my fault. Mixed up the 1150/1151, made some corrections. Agreed even more unlikely to find one under $100.

Actually the only new processor you can afford that will help some is the g4560. (You would have to udate your bios BEFORE you removed your old CPU. It's still a Pentium which isn't the point, but they added hyperthreading to the pentiums for kabylake which means is 90ish % of the performance of an i3 for like 60% of the price
