Hey everyone. I need to buy a new psu for my rig as it turns out that my current one does not have sufficient current on the 12v rail, and is not of a particularly high quality. I'd like to replace it.
The problem is I am fairly new to understanding PSU quality etc, and am not entirely sure which ones are good. I've seen the TH PSU tier list, and would preferably like to get a PSU in tier 2 or above.
As I said, my current 500w PSU doesn't supply the full 42A my GPU needs, it only supplies 38A across a single 12v rail. I feel this may be the cause of some stuttering in certain games. That, or the fact that the PSU is pretty dire quality.

My rig:
GPU:ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1070 - (MUST have 12V 42A minimum, and MINIMUM 500W)
CPU:i5-6600k running @ stock (may choose to overclock in the future but it isn't a necessity)
RAM:1x 8gb of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400MHz RAM @ 2600MHz (1.36v)
OS installed on:HyperX Fury 120GB SSD
Games installed on:WD BLUE 1tb HDD (just ordered, it isn't actually in my rig yet)
Mobo:ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard
Case:NZXT S340 Case (I listed this because, it has a compartment to hide the PSU cables. This means I do not HAVE to get a modular/semi-modular PSU).

I HAVE A BUDGET OF ROUGHLY £70. (try and stick to tier 2 or tier 1 if possible, for this price).

In another thread I asked about my PSU, and Aeacus suggested this:
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/Tc3RsY/seasonic-power-supply-ss620gm2
This is in tier 2, however it is slightly over my budget. Can anyone find a similar quality PSU for a lower price?

I appreciate any help I get :D

I've heard Alza ship from central Europe and that delivery can take a particularly long time to get to the UK. Not to mention the shipping cost back if I encounter any issues. I've never used them myself, I've only ever ruled them out as this is what I've heard from several people online. Also their prices are particularly low on almost all products, which seems a little too good to be true to me.

This is absolutely perfect. Thanks for finding this for me. I don't mind if it's only £3 over, and I'd consider this over the Seasonic one I was looking at any day. 80+ gold, modular, and £10 cheaper. Also, it's tier 1, which the Seasonic isn't. I honestly didn't think I could get a tier 1 PSU for my budget, so props to you for finding one.
Thanks for your help! :D

edit: also, after researching into it a little bit, it seems like this model of the supernova has been built in collaboration with Seasonic anyway, so I can be guaranteed great quality.

Glad to be of assistance :), I hope it's stocked and shipped soon. I came across it last week on a similar thread(that chaps budget was too small for it, despite my several attempts to get him to see the advantages, namely power savings costs when going from bronze to gold unit).

The stock isn't an issue. A quick search led me to find it in stock at Scan.com https://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-evga-supernova-gs-80-plus-gold-full-modular-sli-crossfire-single-rail-45a-plus12v-1x120mm-fan-a for only £1 more. I will be purchasing this unit as soon as I get paid in just over a week. Thanks for your help :)

no problem

never used them myself so you could be right

the gs is decent enough

not as good as the g2 if i remember right but still a good psu for the money
