I have the logitech g230 but want to get a new one thats preferably wireless, but if theres as wired one thats better, I'll get that then. Originally, I was thinking about getting the corsair gaming void wireless, but am thinking against it since i read some buyer reviews. Will you guys give me some suggestions for a good headset?

Edit: I'm thinking about the hyperx cloud revolver s or sennheiser game one but, can you suggest anything cheaper with good sound quality and mic quality like those two?

Personally I would recommend the HS40 because they are quite similarly priced to the Void however the features and quality available are probably better than them. Ultimately it's up to you and you might want to take things like color and other aesthetics into account if you do have a specific color scheme going on in your setup

Yes the Corsair Void's would be a good choice as they are good for gaming and have a good enough mic too however if you are willing to spend that much as the price is quite above that of your G230s, a possibly better choice may be the Corsair Raptor HS40.
It features an adjustable noise cancelling mic which is unidirectional too so it only captures audio from a single direction which will be your voice, also it has a comfortable and sturdy design which is good for gaming sessions. Finally it connects via 3.5mm audio jack so it can be connected to a vast range of items whether that be your PC, console or even phone.

ok, well this is kinda hard, the hs40 is $34.99 and the void is $79.99 on amazon. The problem is that the void keeps with the aesthetics of my rig since most of my components with rgb is corsair and in the future, I'd like to link them with the corsair commander. well, the fans need the commander, but i believe the void will use the software like my keyboard and mouse. but since the hs430 is cheaper, that makes me wanna get it more, but since they are wired and the void is wireless, not so much...........ugh, first world problems

I think the Void on Amazon you are looking at is quite overpriced as it sells for approximately £50-£60 at other places. Also I wouldn't spend so much extra money for the sake of wirelessness but if this is really something you want then go ahead. I am slightly confused because the HS40s are also from Corsair so what is your concern there? It does come down to what your budget is or how much you are willing to spend though.
I should mention that the Void is also a great gaming headset because I haven't said so before but I am backing the HS40 because I think it is more worth the money. If you spend so much on the Void then you may as well buy the HyperX Cloud II instead right? I mean you did mention an interest in the HyperX in your original post

ok, now i feel stupid, one for realizing that the hs40 is corsair and for paying extra for rgb and wireless, I'll go ahead and get the hs40, not that i look at the again, they look nice. i'll get the revolver s but way in the future as the are $150.00 headsets. Sorry, but is there any good wireless gaming headset that is good? since i tend to get tangled in the wire, like with my g230s, since the wire is really long, I get tangled easily. but, again this is a minor nuance. if not, i'll decide and get the hs40. confused since on amazon the hs40 has been rated 3.1/5 stars but i'll go with what you say about the headset.

If the cable is your concern then you can get cable management tools cheaply online. Things like headset stands even can be helpful as you can just wind the cable around the base or something.

I don't know why they have a low rating there as they are supposed to have excellent sound quality and I have heard myself the high quality mic

ok thanks, i'll go ahead with the hs40 then, also, my setup is mostly red and black, so it just occured to me that those headphones would be ok aesthetically and i don't need rgb/LED

in the future, im thinking about the hyperx cloud revolver s or the sennheiser gaming one. do you have an opinion?

I will be honest I don't know very much about them though if gaming is your main concern I'm assuming the HyperX headset will be better but Senheiser is probably superior when it comes to things like sound quality.

just got the headset today, really like them but the ear cups are small, well if they are supposed to be over-the-ear, these are on-the-ear which is quite annoying for long use. is there a good one you can recommend that a a larger ear cup?
