New build cant decide cpu

Hi, im in the middle of a new build and cant decide to go with the i7 6700k or the 7700k. I read that the 6700k not having hyper threading, on the other side 7700k has a heat problem .. Gonna use it mostly for gaming, but also a little music production.
Here is my specs:

Asus strix z270e gaming
Asus strix 1080ti
Corsair rgb 4x8gb 3000mhz
Corsair mp500 m2
Deep cool captain 360 aio with better fans
Evga supernova g3 1000w
Nxzt h440

What do you guys think would be the better choice for this setup?

6700k does have hyper threading but the 7700k will be a better choices as it has faster clocks and better performance for gaming. You can tame it if paired with a decent AIO. Also you dont need a 1000w psu unless you are planning to SLI in future. Rest looks allright.

Already got the setup, just missing cpu, a friend helped me out with picking parts but we messed up and bought wrong socket cpu, so got it returned, now the rig just stand in a corner waiting for me to decide on what cpu it gonna get. If the cooling i have is sufficent ill pick up a 7700k.
