Question about pc case cooling

Hello everyone, this is the first time I'm posting here.
I have a few questions about cooling, air flow etc on a new pc case I bought.More specifically,I got the Deepcool D-shield (I'm on a budget)

Question 1) The case has an exhaust fan. While gaming,my gpu and cpu temps seem to be fine (gigabyte gtx1050 ti at 65-67 degrees and amd FX-6300 at 52-55 degrees). However, the top of the case gets really hot,I am assuming because the hot air getting pushed upwards doesn't get out through the back exhaust. Is that normal?

Question 2) I bought 2 extra fans, though I am at a loss as to where to place them.I did place one on the front for intake, but it didn't seem to help neither the gpu/cpu temps and the case top still gets hot. What should I do?

A few things i need to mention,I cannot place any fans on the psu shroud due to certain cables going to my ATX mothermoard. Also I am using MSI afterburner to look at temps and control the gpu fan speed.I've set the gpu fan to spin at 20% when idle (at 35-43 c temps) and at @65% when temps reach 60-65.If I don't control the fans, the card can get considerably hotter (they spin more slowly)
Generally,I am asking if there are things wrong with my temps and setup, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the best setups in terms of just 3 fans tend to be 1 top, 1 back and 1 front or 1 back, 2 front. I'd test both those to see which is better.

The main thing that reduces temperatures is your cooler. This includes the gpu as well. A 1 fan 1050ti or reference 1050ti will be about 10-15 degrees hotter than the 2 fan 1050ti's. Similarly if you have a lower-end cpu cooler, your temps are always gonna be high.

I run a fx 9590 with an nh d15 and with a 1050ti strix (2 fan). Honestly, spending the extra £30 or so on the 2 fan 1050ti makes a difference I'm sure. The temps are around 55 under load, sometimes a bit lower at like 50. It could be the fact you are just using 1 gpu fan or your cpu cooler isn't the greatest. 52-55 isn't too bad, but I've seen temps around 40 with mid-range coolers like the 212 evo and equivalents. Maybe that could help you.

I do in fact have a 2 fan gtx 1050 ti,as for the cpu cooler this is the one i have

and the fan is facing up,towards the top grate with the dust filter.
Perhaps it's the room temperature in conjuction with the pc case being small and without holes?I live in Greece and it's rather hot this time of the year.
