Whenever i tried to join a server, It loads fine until it gets to the countdown to continue, but it gets stuck at 5 and crashes, I watched some tutorials and none of them helped, but in one video they said to go look into event viewer to find out why it crashed, I got this:

Faulting application name: csgo.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x595ec8de
Faulting module name: tier0.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x595fd506
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0001d289
Faulting process id: 0x1ec8
Faulting application start time: 0x01d30ae8dc3d27c0

Solution

Okay, I've seen a few people on various forums saying that Razer Synapse and or SteelSeries Engine can cause the issue, disable both (end the task in task manager if you have either).

Also another person posted this and it worked for them. Don't count on it working for you, but it's worth a shot.

1) Run cmd.exe as adminstrator, once the cmd prompt opens up, type the following and press Enter:

bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

2) If done correctly, you'll see the message "The operation completed successfully"

- If you get an "Access denied" message, then you didn't run cmd.exe as administrator.

3) Next, restart your PC
