CPU For MSI A55M-E33 Help please.

Hello, everyone. I have MSI A55M-E33 motherboard, and basically i need some help to find the best possible processors for this motherboard. Help will be really appreciated.

CPU Support: AMD FM2+/FM2 A-Series/Athlon processors
CPU Socket: FM2+

Please help, thank you.

By best, if you're implying for better gaming experience than the integrated Radeons within your APU, I'd rather recommend you to use that very budget for a discrete GPU instead.

An A8 class is comparable with the old C2Q. And those old quads are also comparable to the Athlon II X4s and even the X3s. Basically about the same expected performance on average.

The ideal GPU in this tier are today's $200 class, no matter which side. I leave this to your own choosing. Going beyond that, the diminishing returns kicks in real hard. As it is already borderline to begin with.

GPU has much more profound impact than going up in CPU tier.

But to answer your question; the A12 class APUs are right now the pinnacle of FM2+ platform.
