So I've recently bought these speakers GENIUS SP-HF800A, 2.0. They work normally, but when I plug my headphones (phone headphones) there is no sound through headphones. But when I plug them only halfway there is a sound. WTF?

Any idea to why this is happening?

Solution
phone uses a different jack than pc or speakers, phone needs a mic. that extra conductor on the plug is the issue, all the way in it uses the wrong wires, halfway out it connects

example only shop around not an endorsement
the adapter above will leave the pink (mic) loose but will go all the way in and give you audio

Will it give me audio even if it says "Line In" on speakers?

line in is the AUX, if those speakers were connected to the PC the line in would be for your phone or ipod while still connected to PC via the green plug. that is the other gender of the male green plug. you plug in another source there. I do not see a headphone jack
