Can I reuse it? Should I just get a different CPU? The CPU comes from the following link.
https://www.cnet.com/products/hp-compaq-8200-elite-core-i7-2600-3-4-ghz-monitor-none-series/specs/

I bought a 450 W power supply and an EVGA 1050ti card for the build.
I tried upgrading the computer, but it is near impossible to do so.
I would like to try to save some money and build a new pc with what I have.
I can return the power supply and card if anyone has better suggestions. Trying to stay under $500.
I would like to do a micro ATX build, but it isnt necessary.

This is what I have come up with, but I'm iffy on the motherboard.

you can reuse it, but, you are limiting yourself to 2010 -era mainboards, and performance levels...

Honestly if at all possible, I'd look at one of the new R3 cpus (R3-1300X?) and an appropriate A320 or B350 mainboard (B350 allows overclocking) which keeps pace with modern i5's (7400) in today's games...

You can compare I3/i5, and R3 performance in a few games...
