Pretty sure my 6970 just roasted itself. Not sure if i should find a cheap replacement that is still an upgrade to last until i upgrade the rig, or a long term high end card. I do have a 1440p ips freesync monitor and am curious if an nvidia card is better value at a certain point. At the moment though, AMD seems out of the question due to pricing....so....what do you guys recommend.
A few months ago i told myself I'd wait until vega, not sure if i can last 2 weeks without a card though haha..
I've been looking at 1060s, 1050 ti. Anything else i should be looking at?
