Does a dual channel cpu work on a quad channel motherboard?

So i'm planning on upgrading my pc( change almost all the hardware ) and i want to buy a ryzen 1400 cpu and a b350m bazooka motherboard, but the mobo is quad channel and the cpu us dual channel. Will i have no problems if i use them?

the motherboard has 4 memory slots, but is dual channel, a quite common design....; B350 based boards use standard DDR4, preferably 3200 MHz, although you can run it at approved slightly lower speeds compatible for your BIOS version on your mainboard, possibly 2666 MHz or so....
