Is there a risk with AIO cooling?

Hey guys,

I have a i7 6700K @ 4,5 GHZ right now with the hyper 212 evo, i want to overclock it higher but i need a watercooler for that. The only thing that holds me back is i dont know if there is a risk for leaking. And can i expect much higher overclocks?

Probably won't expect much of a increase. You can google Evo vs AIO and see it's a few degrees difference. Might have hit your silicon limit. Without a full water loop and a good mb and ram, probably won't get much.

There is always a risk.
More moving parts, liquid inside your PC....
Will it leak? Probably not. Probably.

And going above your current 4.5GHz is not a guarantee if you change cooling options.
Is your system currently topping out as far as heat? If not, then a better cooler doesn't help things.
