CPU: Ryzen 1600
GPU MSI R9 285 2gb Gaming Edition
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz
MOBO: MSI A320M GRENADE
CPU: Seagate 1TB FireCuda Gaming SSHD
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Trying to OC to 3.8GHz @ 1.35v but it seems to not change in HWMonitor or CPU-Z while I play games, it stays at 3.3GHz at all times and only hits 3.8GHz when I start a program or game. Never hits 3.8Ghz while playing a game.
Assuming this motherboard cant overclock good because its cheap but came here for some help
FPS in games if anyone is wondering, it isnt bad at 3.3ghz just wanting to suck up the most of the CPU.
Pubg: 50-60 average, 70-90 max. (All low except textures, render scale @ 100%)
GTA V: 90-120 average, 130 max. (Some settings very high, some high.)
Note: I did try AMD Ryzen Master overclocking, it restarts my PC then proceeds to let me know the OC failed. so that doesnt work.
