So up untill this point I've been connecting to my wifi via Ethernet, but I've recently been staying at a new place where the router isn't close enough to my computer to connect the cord to.
So I tried connecting to the router wirelessly, but when I open the network tab nothing shows up. I looked everywhere online and most people said to reinstall my drivers. So I put in the driver disk and reinstalled. But it still wouldn't show my router. I looked in my device manager and the only network adapter thats available is killer e2200 gigabyte Ethernet adapter and no wireless adapters... Shouldnt a wireless adapter be bundled with the Ethernet one? Without one I'm unable to connect to my internet. I'm super frustrated cause I've been trying to fix this all day, so I'm really hoping someone here can help me out.

Yeah looks like you don't have a wifi card, best to get one, they are pretty cheap https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/wireless-network-card/. Alternatively you can get a longer Ethernet cord.

What's the computer, desktop/laptop and model? it's likely that you do not have wireless capabilities on your computer (hence no wireless drivers), you can get a USB dongle to remedy this, or if it's a desktop, a PCIe wifi card.

they are very easy to install, you will need to open your computer case and plug it into a PCIe slot, you won't need to connect the PSU.

In terms of price, some more expensive ones allow connection to the 5ghz band, this is only relevant if your router is dual band 2.4, 5.0ghz. More expensive cards also have higher bandwidth, this means faster network speed, however this will not increase your internet speed (unless you internet is rated higher than the cheaper cards).
