So, this PC my aunt gave me (sits on the office for about a yaer) has a problem. The Mobo detects the RAM sticks inserted to the slots but it doesn't post. I tried the RAM sticks to my rig, and it is still working. The Mobo is MSI h81m-p33, CPU- core i3 4130. Is the Mobo's RAM slot dead?

Solution
Try setting voltage for ram in bios From any *.*V to 1.5V or 1.65V and test it, if not, see sticker on ram for timings and speed and voltage if it has one and type it here soo i can see, cause i3 is limited to DDR3-1600Mhz.
