Hello!

I just finished building my first computer and after I installed windows I was hoping to be able to play my games in no time! I started by using my motherboard's DVI port to set up windows and install the drivers. I put in the CD that came with the graphics card and installed. It said it was installed successfully, but when it rebooted, the DVI and the HDMI on my graphics card still didn't work, and the graphics card still wasn't showing up in device manager.

My graphics card is a GeForce GTX 1050 and my motherboard is a ASUS B150M-C D3. And I'm running windows 10 home

Here are the troubleshooting things that I've tried so far:

■- Ensuring the connection to the PCIe is secure (the fan moves just fine so I know its plugged in)
■- I tried switching my primary display from auto to the PCIe slot in my BIOS but that yielded no results
■- I used a display driver unistaller to erase any signs of nvidia drivers, then I rebooted and tried to install drivers, but the installation stopped and said I didn't have a graphics card.
■- I know my windows is up to date because I downloaded it today.

I've been watching youtube videos and looking on forums for the past 5 hours trying to figure out this and holy hell its frustrating. I just want to play my games!!! The suns coming up as a type this. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me if you know what might be causing this!
