Max number of fans for case controller, and fan layout advice

I'm looking into getting the BeQuiet Dark Base 900 (not pro) for my next case, and due to an experience with my current case of the controller breaking after adding a couple of small 120mm fans, I'm scared what I have planned will do the same. (Previous case was the Corsair 600T, with the full dial speed control)

Please tell me if this is too much, if I should buy an additional fan controller or put some in the motherboard control spectrum.

I plan on having 2x 240mm radiators (both H100i, for gpu and cpu). One in the front using a push pull config (I'll be replacing the fans on both radiators with more silent fans, suggestions here would be nice, please and thank you). The other radiator will be in a pull config at the top. I'm not sure if I should put my gpu or cpu on the front, but I'm thinking the gpu in front might be best.

So that brings my current total to 6x 120mm fans. I will also have the case included 140mm fan in the back, and move the front two to the bottom. This brings the total fans to 6x 120mm static pressure fans on radiators, and 3x 140mm airflow fans.

Is this a good layout I have planned?
Will the case be able to control all 9 fans without breaking?
Is it wise to even put all the fans on the case controller?
I can't find anything in the case specs that actually say how many fans it can do, so can it even control that many fans?
If I shouldn't have them controlled by case, which ones should I have the motherboard control? What about another fan controller?
Should I even bother with the push pull config for the front radiator (reduce number of fans)?

I'm sorry for the overload of questions. I just don't want to break the controller like what happened before, especially on a $200 case. I've also never dealt with radiators before.

Thank you for you time and answers.

In the case specs page, it's stated: "Manual stepless fan controller supports up to three PWM and three 3-pin fans.",
specs: http://www.bequiet.com/en/case/697

Though, here's how i'd set up your case cooling:
1. I'd buy 6 channel external fan controller that sits in 5.25" external bay, e.g Thermaltake Commander F6 RGB (which i have in my Skylake build, full specs in my sig).
2. Hook all rad fans to the external fan controller for manual control for each fan.
3. Plug the 3x stock fans to the stock fan controller that comes with the case.

With this, you can control each your rad fan as you please, with temperature sensor for each channel. While your 3x stock airflow fans all run in sync and you have limited control over them. Though, you can hook your 3x stock fans to the MoBo if you prefer them to be controlled via BIOS.
