Ryzen 5 1600 is out of stock here in croatia what ryzen cpu should I buy?
I was thinking about the 1400 paired with a 1050 ti/rx 560.
Give me your honest opinion for the cpu choice please.

i would rather go for a ryzen cpu since its more future proof

You could just try waiting for it to come back in stock. Did you check local hardware stores as well as online stores? If it's out of stock everywhere, consider contacting the online store and asking them to get more stock, or the local store to get more of them. If you can't do any of those, the closest alternative is the 1600X, and if that isn't available either, the 1500X is your best bet. If no Ryzen CPU is available, try getting an i7(even an older i7 is okay, like the 2600K), and if it's too expensive, only then consider i5.

But usually if you ask them nicely some store or the other will get more stock when requested, especially if you're an old customer.

When building a gaming system, I try to avoid spending more on a CPU than a GPU. There are bigger performance increases by getting a better GPU than there are for CPU. I would look at the Ryzen 1300x and put the extra money saved and get a 1060 if you can find a 1060 for a reasonable price.

You will get better performance with a 1300x and a 1060 than a 1600 and a 1050ti

You are looking at a $200 cpu to run a $160 graphics card.
You can get full performance out of that card using a cpu budget of about $100.

With your budget, I would reverse that allocation to a stronger graphics card and a less expensive cpu.
This advice is very applicable if your games are fast action shooters where graphics is all important.
Less applicable for games such as sims mmo or strategy games.

Something like ryzen 1300/x might be appropriate.
Since ryzen is now very popular, prices tend to be bid up.
You might find a intel I5-7400 or I3-7300 that will do the job at a more attractive price.

yes i know man but i wanna get a cpu like the 1600 so in the future i can upgrade the gpu without worrying about bottlenecks

What cpu options are available to you?

In the future, do you anticipate that you would ever buy a graphics card as strong as a GTX1080ti?
If not, buy the cheapest ryzen that is available to you. It will run your GTX1050ti just fine.
In the future, if a GTX1070 class card is as strong as you might ever need, one of the currently announced ryzen processors will be good for an upgrade.

If, however, you have aspirations for the kind of gaming that will need a GTX1080ti or stronger, then I think a kaby lake processor of some sort would be appropriate.
That will permit a cpu upgrade to a I7-7700K which is about the strongest gaming cpu available today.
Even that is not a sure fire basis for a future upgrade to coffee lake since it is not clear if Z270 motherboards will or will not support coffee lake.

10nm cannon lake looks like a 2018 thing.

Get it from eBay or newegg or Amazon. And if you can't get what you want, get something Stronger... A year from now you will wish you had, if you choose to go weaker.
