Hopefully someone can give me some wisdom.

Repairing an old Acer mini desktop after it would turn on and give an eternal long beep . No display.

Replaced fan & CPU still no change.

Swapped all the ram out still nothing.

Unplugged CD-ROM/HDD still nothing.

Tried the internal graphics took out the card still nothing but long beeps.

My only suspicion is a problem on the motherboard ?

Spec

Acer aspire ax3810
E7400 intel duo
4gb ddr3- (8gb ddr3 upgrade)
1tb HDD
Hd4350 512mb (upgrade hdxxxx1gb)

All has been working fine with upgrade but this problem really jogs my nog.

Tried it my friend. Still the same result . I checked the manual which states 1 long beep is the issue when its clearly not . The only thing i can see is all 4 sticks of ram i have are broken i just can't see that but stranger things have happened. Again the pc has been running since 2009 and only recently got this error. Also took out the gpu. For the life of me i cannot figure out what is causing the error . The error happened while the pc was dormant so one can assume a part on the motherboard has completely failed. It turns on and the fan spins can hear the hdd working away too but that beep is driving me insane it's almost an error that can't be troubleshooted even through acers manuals.
