WD hardware recognized in device manager but can't access it from my computer

I have a dell inspiron with a WD 2T external hard drive new. My wife used my hard drive on her compaq and now my computer shows the hard drive under devices but It does not show up in my computer like it used to, so I can't open it and access my files.

Try searching "create and format hard disk partition" an app will open and what do you see? Do you see the hard drive as an unallocated space?
