Im wondering if my CPU and GPU will be able to run games with a 1440p monitor. I will be mainly playing CSGO and Overwatch which is why i chose the refresh rate and also G-sync. i will also be playing some Triple A games however not on ultra settings.
Except in games like OW, LoL, etc, you won't see frames anywhere near 144Hz. ~100 fps is what you get on 1080p. See here: http://imgur.com/a/mBQq0
I'd expect ~60-70 fps on 1440p in AAA games at mid settings. Which is not bad at all.
so is there any other better monitor you recommend for me?
You never mentioned what monitor you were buying. I would go with 1440p@144Hz just to be future proof (when you upgrade the card). Or buy a good curved 27" 1080p@60/75Hz monitor.

yo i have one quick last question. Say i was getting 110 fps with a 144hz monitor although it would be very smooth gameplay would i be able to change the monitors settings to make it go 100HZ and then enable G-sync with a changed refresh rate?
First please don't create multiple threads with the same info. I just noticed that and realized I have wasted my time here. Your question has already been answered in a different thread.
Yes you can do that though I don't see the point of it. Leave your monitor at 144Hz so you can use all the 100+ frames that you get.
