CPU bottleneck looking for replacement

I'm looking for a CPU thats maybe around $150-200 for my ASUS R9 270 my current FX-4300 @ 3.8 Isn't cutting it all, i'm bottle necking in csgo getting 80 fps any suggestions?
MOBO: GA‑78LMT‑S2P
Chipset: AMD 760G AMD SB710

No real upgrade for that board. A 6350 is as good as I'd go but it's not a ton better. I'd save my money till I could buy a r3 1200/b350 board and ddr4 ram ($250 should do the trick)

Doesn't change anything the 8*** series chips will throttle on the board because the power delivery system stinks. I'd wait and save up another 50 bucks and actually fix the problem longer term.

As csgo cannot use extra threads and that board is not good for overclocking any upgrade will give negligible fps increase. Time for a new platform

Don't spend any money on a dead, useless platform. Every dollar spent on a fx build is one that is wasted. Your better off ocing your 4300 than buying something new. As mentioned csgo only cares about single core speed mostly. Your CPU oced will outrun a 8320 in that game. Buy a new cooler that is also compatible with am4 if you have to, but don't blow money on am3+ stuff

Neither, don't drop more money in the obsolete AM3+ socket. Any upgrade is minimal. A cheap g4560 build would be a huge step up on what you have and give you great upgrade options.

Depends what you want to upgrade to. The g4560 was the cheapest option I would recommend but it all depends on budget, you are going to need new motherboard, RAM & CPU

I can bump it to maybe around 200-300$

For that budget get a r3 1200/any b350 motherboard/ 16 or 8 GB ram whichever fits your budget
