Hello all, Ive recently purchased a GTX 1070 SC by Gigabyte so I could max games on Ultra settings. My computer is aging and was built in 2013. I went from a GTX 770.
Anyway im running this setup now.

CPU: AMD FX 8350 OC'd to 4.5 Ghz
Cooled with Cosair H100i v2
GFX: Nvidia 1070 SC Gigabyte
MOBO: MSI 970 Gaming Edition
RAM: COSAIR 2133 DDR3 16GBs
PSU: Cosair CX 750M

Anyway, it looks like my CPU is bottlenecking the GPU. Trying to run GTA5 with everything maxed on just FHD, usually sits at about 50fps. Im trying to get a consistent 60fps. It does also struggle on Planet Coaster on Ultra. Advice please?

Yeah i totally forgot about ryzen 3, its similar perfomance as i5-7500, but you're gonna need DDR4 for that.Motherboard is 60$-ish cpu 120$-ish,well if you could sell your old and buy new that would be great.

I was thinking about switching to the blue team. It's just gotten so expensive. What about the new Ryzen 3 thats on the horizon. I was looking to spend no more than 200 bucks on my upgrade but I want to stay future proof for at least another 5 years.
