RX 460 vs GTX 1050

OK so I'm gonna get a new GPU and these are the choices. An RX 460 for £95 or a GTX 1050 for £125.

I've heard the GTX 1050 is the better card but I'm still not sure.

Games I planning on getting are:

MGS V
Witcher 3
Doom 2016
Resident Evil 7
Quake Champions (when it comes out)
Wolfenstein the New Order and I I
Dark Souls III
Dishonoured 2

And others but these are the ones which immediately come to mind

The 1050 is a little faster, but is it £30 faster? Personally, I would say no. On the other hand, if the 1050 can hit your fps targets and the 460 can't...well that would be that then. Have you compared prices with the 1050 ti? It's significantly faster than either card, and I can see at least 2 models on Amazon UK that are £131. Prime member deals, but I assume it's at least indicative of overall pricing.

The 1050 will be a better choice overall. But if you're already paying 125euro for a 1050, you should check your area for a Zotac GTX1050ti, it should be around that price (depending on your country, but from UK listings the zotac is only around 130euro)
