I have an 8pin to 2x(6+2)pin pcie cable with my PSU. ( Like this one http://media.bestofmicro.com/ext/aHR0cDovL21lZGlhLmJlc3RvZm1pY3JvLmNvbS9DLzQvNTY0MTk2L29yaWdpbmFsL2NhYmxlczkuanBn/r_600x450.jpg)

My CPU needs 8pin cable and my GPU needs a 6pin cable.

Can i use this cable, add extension to the 6+2 sides and connect one to my CPU and the other to my GPU ?

It would ne nice to remove some cables because with the extension kit it's kinda messy.

Thanks

The PCIe power cable and the CPU power cable are wired exactly opposite each other polarity-wise. You cannot use one to feed the other w/o an adapter. Highly not recommended.
The picture you show is for a modular PSU. The 8-pin end goes to the PSU, and the 2 x 6+2 pin ends are for a gfx card only.
