I finished my pc build but none of the motherboard io works the cpu pump works and the case fans turn on too.

motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING LGA 1151 ATX Intel.
ram:16gb g skill 3200 mhz
video card: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti STRIX ROG Overclocked 11GB GDDR5X GAMING
cpu: intel core i5 7600k

Solution
pull the gpu see if you can get asus post screen. from onboard video. if there no post start with a woops check list. make sure the mb sitting on top of the standoffs and the right screws were used so the mb is not shorted out. make sure the 8 pin power on the side of the mb was filled with cpu power plug and not 6 plus 2 gpu power from the power supply. make sure fan and any connector not missing it pins or are on the wrong plug. if there no power unplug the fans..usb and case cables use just the power on switch see if the pc has power. make sure the cpu lock in and in the wright way. if there still no post pull mb make sure it not shorted in the case. if there no post outside the case check for bent pins under the cpu. and check bios...
Do you even have a BIOS display at Power up? Important detail to leave out if not, but, since you addressed only "IO"...

If you have a display and can install windows,

You will need to install all chipset drivers right after windows install, and make sure all assorted USB/Audi/Microphone headers are connected properly per your mainboard manual...

If you have no display, is your CPU PWR 4 pin connected from PSU to mainboard?

Does your GTX1080 have it's extrenal supplemental power connection(s) connected from PSU? (Double check that your monitor is connected to a GPU port, and not integrate video)

No it doesn't display either and I do have the cpu connected to the psu and I had the HDMI connected to the GPU. sorry for the lack of information by IO I meant that the keyboard and mouse don't have power, they don't turn on with this pc. while on my other one they work perfectly fine
