I do video editing and light gaming (steam games + sims 4, steam games such as dead realm, undertale, dream daddy, just for examples). I work with premier pro doing other youtubers videos. I need a desktop computer under $1000, prebuilt already (I've come across so many rude people saying "don't be lazy, just build a computer"). Storage is important not only for my editing but for the sims 4 expansions as well, just to keep in mind. I've found one that reviewers say is great but people on forums say sucks:

Can anyone help me find a better one? Or is this actually good enough to get the job done? I don't know much about computers but the specs LOOK good...

The i5-7400 CPU would be a poor choice for video editing. While the build might look to have impressive specs you see things like an H110 mobo and a 300W PSU which shows that it is not that great for quality of components. Also, the build that you provided does not have a video card, you will not be able to use it for video editing. My suggestion here is to buy the all the components from NCIX US except for the video card, which are in short supply these days. NCIX US provides an assembly service for a nominal fee. Then it would be simply a matter of popping in the video card which in this case is just push it into the slot.

This build will give you 16MB of RAM which is pretty much a minimum for video editing. As well the 1500X...
