So here is strange situation and will try explain as best I can.

I am on a wireless network at the end of the property. My PC gets on the network using a USB wireless adapter. This connection works perfect.

However my TV the wireless seems a little slow (guessing the router is a little far away). I cannot stream plex or netflix at 1080p. It stutters.

So what I want to do is... I have a spare router. I want to plug this into the PC getting the internet connection from the PC. The TV I will then connect to the router plugged into the PC. This will work because the wireless signal will come from a much closer source and its the router I used at my previous address which worked fine. Also keep in mind the internet speed connection is fine on the PC.

So im hoping streaming the 1080p stuff from a closer router (pretty much as before) will work.

My Question is.... How do I setup that router to use the existing internet connection on the PC instead of creating its own and add it to the network. I could even use the new added router to create a 'new' network just for the tv but it needs to get the internet from the PC.

Any input, ideas and how to setup will be greatly appreciated.

Some extra info:
I have tried turning off the DHCP on the added router etc but cant get internet on it to work. Not sure what steps etc im missing.

Also the PC (Win 10) keeps thinking because I am plugging in the router via Lan port it must use that one for internet and disconnects the exisiting connection. Really annoying.

Cant figure out the ip range on existing wireless network. Probably need to log into the 192.168.1.1 and get the password etc to see if it shows on the existing router/network setup in order to move the new router outside that range (unless I do not need to do this).

So I went and over-complicated things again. I should make the PC a wi-fi hotspot with the usb antenna. Forgot they send and receive. Should be able to just do that and leave the router thing out completely.
