So I just installed a second hard drive to my PC, a western digital black. After installing it, I boot up my computer back on & shows that it's recognize. But it's not showing that the memory is being used. I already installed 3 games on it & it's still showing 1.81 TB free of 1.81 TB. Did I forget something? Sorry I'm new to this whole installing. Thanks.

1. If you navigate to the disk in File Explorer, is it visible, and can you see files/folders on it? If not, then did you initialise the disk using Disk Manager to make it ready for use?
2. Did you change the installation path to the new hard drive when your game install programs prompted you for it?

My files & folders are visible, & yes I did change the installation path to the new hard drive. I just looked at my properties & it's showing that it already used 7.96GB of my new hard drive.

Hey, I too have this problem. I have a western digital black 2tb hard drive and it shows, on the bar that there is 1.81TB free of 1.81TB. If I enter the properties manger for the drive, it shows that I do indeed have space used up, about 20GB worth , but the graphic is not updating. This is quite irritating if I'm honest.

A 2TB drive showing as 1.81TB is perfectly normal and to be expected.
You've not lost anything, nor is any weird stuff using it up.

That is just a difference in reporting values.
