I'm struggling and kinda depressed with my old R9 270x (the temp is high and loud fan sound , sometime reaching 3000rpm). Haven't found happiness on using my PC for 2 Weeks

about to get the GALAX GTX1060 3GB This weekend - Question is

1.will the average temp lower or not? both in Gaming (I usually turn V-Sync and most settings are low-mid , rarely turn somthing high)
2.What's the temp limit I should stop playing?
3.I never use NVIDIA before. Is there some options like FPS Limit in AMD's Catalyst?

Here's my Current Spec
CPU : AMD FX-8320E
CPU Liquid Cooler : Seidon 120V
RAM : GSkill 8GB
GPU : Windforce R9 270X 2GB (3 Fan) - about to change to GALAX GTX 1060 3GB (2 Fan)
MOBO : Gigabyte 970a-D3P Rev2.0
Windows : 10
Case : Cougar Archon (http://cougargaming.com/index_ss.php?id=465)

This is the current temp range from my old R9 270x

Resolution of gaming are either 1280*720 Windowed or 1600*900 Borderless (didnt have 1080p monitor)
I set GPU Core 900 / Memory 1200 / Fan Speed Auto / -10% Power Limit in AMD Overdrive's Global Settings

- Idle (Air Conditioner Off) - 41-44c - 1600-1700 RPM
- Idle (Air Conditioner On) - 35-38c - 1400-1500 RPM
- Rainbow Six Siege (V-Sync on , most low settings) : 50-55c on main menu , 70-73c on gaming , sometime reach 80-84c on MVP Screen - 2300-Sometimes 3000 RPM
- Dota2 (mostly medium with 60fps lock) : 64-71c on gaming , 73-84c on Drafting (Spectate) - 2200-2800 RPM

Is the 1060 gonna have the temp/RPM lower than the list above? (so it's lifespan are longer?)
