Need help! Amd Crossfire, Nvidia SLI or SIngle GPU

Hi,
I was just wondering what you guys think is has the best performance for price value. Any help appreciated.

2x Gigabyte Radeon Rx 580's in Crossfire ($1000 AUD)
2x Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1070's in SLI ($1260 AUD)

or

A single Gtx 1080 ti ($1300 AUD)

Please Keep in mind the prices.

ALWAYS go for the single card solution. Many games do not properly support crossfire/sli and when they do support it, will never achieve 2x the performance of the solo GPU. There are some games that even perform worse with crossfire/sli enabled.

You also have to consider the need of a higher wattage and a premium quality PSU for 2+ cards (which in the case of the 1080ti you should also consider it but with a lower wattage than the 2 cards).
