Moving in to a new student accommodation come September, and have just found out that there are no ethernet ports. 3/4 of us have gaming PC's that aren't wireless, so we're in a bit of a bad situation.
As far as the network setup goes, I believe it is shared to the entire building, and we do not have direct access to the router. I have spoken to the landlord, and they have said they can provide any assistance on the administrative side of things with the ISP if we did need any.
Can anyone recommend any solutions for connecting wired-only devices to a wireless network? A friend has proposed setting up one of his routers (Linux) as a bridge.
