Hey Guys I am going to start by saying that I am very inexperienced so do bare that in mind, I ordered a bunch of stuff of the internet and while my Asus Croshair Hero and CS 750M have arrived , the box they came in got torn apart during shipping apparently it was mistreated a lot ,I have no way of knowing if my 16G RAM got lost on the way or was never included in the package and am still waiting for my Ryzen CPU to arrive ,I know that I am not supposed to but I really need to just test if the motherboard survived this , because in case it didnt I need to move fast for RMA so I put it inside the case and connected all the wires I could , pretty sure I did it right and then turned on the power supply , leds on the motherboard come on and there is a red light when I press the start button on the motherboard or the case nothing happens which I guess is normal but the chassis fans don't spin , but shouldn't the chassis fan spin ? Is all this normal without a CPU or should I be worried ?

i dont think the board is gonna power up the FANS without CPU and if there are damages on board i am sure you wont even see the power led too but still wait for the CPU
